First week in MTC

Well this week has been very eventful, I met a lot of other missionaries going to the Manila MTC in the airport which was pretty cool. The flight to the LA airport was uneventful, although the people behind me gave out a book, but once we reached LAX we had a hard time finding where to go and getting through everything, but it turned out fine. The flight to Manila was long, but once we got to the Philippines everything has been pretty cool. It is beautiful here, it's as if a city was just put right into the middle of a forest, the food has also been amazing, they have weird Ice cream flavors like corn and it's not considered a meal unless it has rice but it's still pretty good. It's been amazing getting away from all the things of the world and just being able to learn the language and the gospel every day of the week. I've already given a very simple testimony in Tagalog which I surprised myself doing that as it's only been a few days, and I mostly pray in Tagalog. My companion is great and I get along really well with my roommates so I have definitely been blessed in that aspect. I hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying life.
