Third Week in Calamba

My third week in Calamba has been pretty great, I have been able to meet some new people and get to know others better, which is great. This Tuesday I went on my first exchanges and it felt like the first day in the field all over again, meeting a ton of new people who I can barely talk to and being asked to say a lot of prayers, but it was a pretty great experience. This week was the first that I noticed definite improvement in my Tagalog since I have arrived here, I am getting better at picking up words that I know and being able to piece together ideas, and that has been really cool to be able to better understand what others are saying. Last week we went to a more expensive restaurant than usual that served huge burgers and some crazy foods which I took some pictures of. I hope everyone has had as great of a week as I have had, and I wish everyone a great upcoming week!
